Gifts in Memory of a Loved One or Friend
In sympathy, your memorial gift will show a loving concern for the health of all who look to Royal Inland Hospital for care—now and in the future. Memorial gifts are used to help fund patient care equipment, facility upgrades and other special programs that promote outstanding care and comfort for patients and their families in our community. Memorial donations can be made online (click here) or by calling the Foundation office at: 250-314-2325.
Each memorial gift received by the Foundation will be acknowledged in the following ways:
Memorial gifts will be shared by way of a special letter expressing sympathy and informing the surviving family. The amount of your gift is not mentioned, but in a dignified message, the recipient learns of your thoughtful gift in support.
Each year the Foundation publishes, in its Annual Report, the names of all individuals for whom a memorial fund has been established.
Gifts in memory of a loved one may qualify for special recognition on the Royal Inland Memorial Wall which is updated twice annually.
The Royal Inland Hospital Memorial Wall
A glass pane on the Memorial Wall honours loved ones who have passed away and serves as a lasting memorial. The Memorial Wall is located in the end of the main corridor of the hospital’s 2nd Floor (across from the Gift Shop). The name of a loved one may be placed on the Wall with donations ranging from $1,000 – $10,000 or more. Donated funds can be designated to a specific department at the hospital or directed to our highest priority projects. Please call us (250.314.2325) or stop by our office for more information.
