The RIH Foundation appreciates the wide variety of skills and staff resources needed to ensure our hospital runs smoothly. Everyone who works at RIH plays an important role in patient care and that’s why we are committed to supporting professional development and the career goals of all RIH staff. The Foundation is now accepting new applications for the Give and Grow Scholarship program at RIH. Scholarships will be open to all RIH Staff (full-time, part-time and casual) who have been employed here for at least 1 year. (Please see guidelines below for more information on eligibility)

To apply for a scholarship:

1. Please review the guidelines, application and evaluation form below carefully.
2. Complete the fillable PDF application form (link below) and submit via email before Friday, March 7th, 2025 at 4:00 pm. *Please note you will get a confirmation email that we have received your application upon submission, if you do not receive this email please follow-up.
3. Please have your Manager or PPL complete the online Manager Support Form (link below) before Friday, March 7th, 2025 at 4:00 pm.
4. The evaluation form (link below) is completed by the Scholarship Committee, we have provided it for your reference along with an example budget. After applications are reviewed by the Scholarship Committee, successful applicants will be notified in early November. 
5. The next round of scholarship applications will be accepted in Fall 2025.

The Give and Grow Scholarship Fund is also partially funded by the RIH staff who donate to the Foundation through payroll deductions. We greatly appreciate the support of the staff who choose to donate to the hospital and are helping to make these scholarships possible!
