• Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older. If a winning ticket bears a minor’s name, the prize will be lawfully delivered on behalf of the minor to the minor’s parent, legal guardian or trustee.
  • Must be a regular full-time, part-time, or casual Interior Health (IH) employee. 
  • Must have earned an income in the prior pay period to enter and must not be on an unpaid leave of absence.
  • Foundation staff are not eligible to participate.
  • Participants can join, withdraw or adjust their entries at any time throughout the year as long as an online change form is submitted.
  • Winners will be selected by using a random number generator (RNG). Trellis RNG is certified by the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch of BC and certified to the GLI-31 standard.
  • Each draw day, the winning name is emailed to lotto participants at the email address provided. Players are also notified via email of any updates or changes to the RIH Foundation 50/50 Staff Lottery. Winners are also posted on our lottery website.
  • You are responsible for keeping your contact information up to date and making these changes online.
  • Winners are required to provide their IH Identification Card as well as a second piece of Photo ID in order to claim their prize.
  • Should there be a delay or a situation that prevents the draw from occurring, the substitute draw will take place as soon as possible and participants will be notified via email with further information.
  • Tickets may be sold & purchased only in British Columbia & only employees on the payroll may participate.
