Double your Donation at RIH Foundation’s 2nd Annual Radiothon
Kamloops, BC – The Royal Inland Hospital Foundation celebrated their inaugural Radiothon event last year, raising over $95,000 for a new Operating Room at RIH. Radio NL broadcasters interviewed doctors, staff, grateful patients and supporters, encouraging listeners to call in and donate.
On March 3rd this year, the Foundation and Radio NL will be at it again. With incredibly powerful patient stories and an opportunity to hear in-depth interviews with RIH physicians, the Foundation hopes to surpass last year’s success.
The Foundation recently found out that this accomplishment should be very achievable. A private family foundation based out of Vancouver – the Robert L. Conconi Foundation – has generously offered to match donations made at Radiothon up to $100,000.
Heidi Coleman, Foundation CEO, stated, “This partnership is so incredible. Not only is the Conconi Foundation giving RIH this tremendous gift, they are also providing the community with another incentive to give. Each dollar raised at the event will be matched and used to purchase priority patient care equipment and programs to help build the best hospital for our community.”
The Royal Inland Hospital Foundation is extremely grateful to the Robert L. Conconi Foundation, along with donations received throughout the day, and the corporate sponsors at the Radiothon event.
To have the opportunity to double your donation on March 3rd, be sure to tune in to Radio NL from 6am – 6pm and call 250.851.8821 to donate.
